Whether you are a new family joining our community or a returning one, this page has all the key information you need about daily happenings at Porfirio H. Gonzales Elementary.

School Hours

Student Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Supervision Begins: 8:15 a.m. (gates open)
Days: Monday through Friday (no school on holidays)

Gates open at 8:15 a.m. and close at 8:30 a.m. Students and parents who arrive after 8:30 a.m. can go to the office to receive a pass to the classrooms.

Please note: We are excited to share that Tolleson Elementary School District will implement a limited early release schedule—with one early release day each month across all campuses. These days will allow our staff to participate in professional development that directly benefits classroom learning and student success.

Parent involvement is key to student success. ParentVUE lets you view your child(ren)'s current information, such as emergency contact information, noted health issues, attendance, and grades. By creating an account, you can communicate with your child's teachers directly via email.
